Academics
Pioneer’s competence-based education develops knowledge, skills and character from Upper Primary through Junior and Senior School. Explore what each stage means for your child.

01 / Grades 4–6
These years build foundations in knowledge, confidence and character. The focus is on helping learners develop the understanding and self-belief they need for the next stage.
Upper Primary is part of the boys’ learning journey. Girls’ admissions begin at Junior School, from Grade 7.

02 / Grades 7–9
Learners explore their interests, talents and abilities while developing the competencies needed for Senior School. This is a time to discover strengths and begin thinking about future possibilities.
Career guidance, exploration and suitability assessments help learners make informed choices as they move towards a senior pathway.

03 / Grades 10–12
Learners pursue pathways aligned with their interests, abilities and career aspirations. Pioneer offers pathways in STEM, Social Sciences, and Arts & Sports Science.

A pathway is more than a subject list. It is a chance to connect what a learner enjoys, what they do well and where they hope to go.
